Born from the culinary dreams of sisters Liu and Lin, this Taiwan-inspired street food gem has brought plant-based dining to the heart of Brussels since April 2019. With a deep passion for veganism and gastronomy, the duo set out to create a menu that is both comforting and cruelty-free.
Taiwanese street food with a twist
The menu at Liu Lin bursts with bold flavours and plant-based reimaginings of classic Taiwanese street food. From the wildly popular Lin’s Noodle Bowl to crispy dumplings and bao buns, every dish is crafted with care and a clear mission: to make vegan food approachable and satisfying. The eatery caters to dine-in and takeaway crowds alike, bringing ethical eating to everyday life.
It’s sustainable when it’s accessible for all
Liu Lin
For Liu and Lin, sustainability isn’t just about where the food comes from—it’s about making sure everyone feels included too. They believe real sustainability only works if ethical food is something everyone can enjoy. That’s why Liu Lin keeps things fairly priced, easy to get to, and open to everyone, whether you’re vegan or just curious. It’s all about keeping things down-to-earth and community-focused—no snobbery, just good vibes and great food.

Spreading the vegan gospel
Their mission didn’t stop in Brussels. In June 2022, Liu teamed up with Pankaj to launch BODHI in Leuven, followed by Lin and Michal’s opening of LIL BAO in Brussels that November. Each concept builds on the original vision—flavourful, inclusive, and plant-powered street food for everyone.
As the vegan movement continues to grow, Liu Lin is leading the way, one noodle bowl at a time.
